I had a mixed experience at Summer Season Boutique Hotel. The place was clean and bright, with a nice breakfast spread, but the WiFi was limited and the staff's English was a bit lacking. Overall, it was a decent stay for the price, but there were definitely some drawbacks.
Rooms
7.0
My room was clean by South East Asian standards and had a big window for natural light, but I did notice some long black hair on the floor.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and helpful, allowing me to check in early, but their English wasn't the best, which made communication a bit tricky.
Location
7.0
The hotel is in a good spot for exploring, but the noise from the street could be quite loud at times.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast was really nice, with a great variety of mostly Indonesian dishes served on the terrace, though the dining area was sometimes noisy.
Facilities

They offered laundry services and tours, but the lack of WiFi in the rooms was a significant downside for me.

My stay at Summer Season Boutique Hotel was enjoyable overall, with lovely rooms that featured warm wooden furniture. However, the breakfast quality was disappointing, and some cleanliness issues in the shared areas stood out. Additionally, while the staff was friendly, service consistency could be improved.
Rooms
7.0
The room was lovely with comforting wooden furniture, creating a warm ambiance in Jogja. However, there were cleanliness issues, particularly in the bathroom.
Service
6.0
The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating, but I encountered arrogance from some restaurant staff. More attention to service in other areas would enhance the experience.
Location
7.0
The hotel enjoys a good location, but there are some traffic and noise issues due to its open concept dining area facing the street.
Dining
5.0
While the breakfast offered a variety of traditional cakes, they were underwhelming and often ran out of food, which led to waits for refills.
Facilities
6.0
I appreciated the valet parking and the option for laundry service. However, the parking area could be better organized.
